The CKAS ThruxSim, ThruxSim Max and ThruxSim Pro are the ultimate home use motion simulators for gaming, with high fidelity 2DOF, 3DOF or 6DOF motion systems, and convenient upper structure to get you in a motion simulator immediately. These units have been the culmination of all of CKAS' professional experience in commercial simulators focused on what is important.

The ThruxSim family of simulators are commercial simulators - squeezed into a smaller footprint and a smaller budget to allow Univiversities, Colleges & Schools a real chance of educating with motion.

The CKAS ThruxSim family of simulators are based around the high performance low cost CKAS motion systems, the T2s 2DOF, the U2s 3DOF and the W3s 6DOF Motion Systems, which feature some incredible response and fidelity (shown clearly in the videos below). The ThruxSim units allow users to "instantly" build a motion simulator when available space is limited. Small Classrooms are not a problem for this setup, and placing several together will allow students to compare performances and modelling real time.

Important information for Potential Customers:

* Robustness and Professional Design - CKAS systems are used by companies such as NASA USA, Australian Defence Forces and other Military contractors. Our systems are very serious in construction and design, and we use only the finest German Actuator hardware to make sure the system works as it has been designed. Our machines are all designed by professional engineers who are trained in developing robot structures, which are designed not only to "work once", but rather to endure fatigue, and perform for a long time with high fidelity. Many competitor systems are simply built by enthusiasts who have some great ideas, but lack the engineering skills to "design and manufacture" a system for consumer or professional use.

* Realistic Simulation - All CKAS motion simulation algorithms are of the highest academic quality. Our algorithms are certified in commercial driving and aviation simulators, and offer the highest fidelity and response.

* Replacement Parts and Spares - CKAS systems are designed with almost entirely "commercial off the shelf" (COTS) components, which are provided by large scale multinational manufacturers. This means that sourcing spare parts for our systems long into the future will be trivial, since the use of commercial technology ensures high life times and support for spares. Most of our competitors will "fabricate" or cobble together "special" actuators from flimsy components like small stepper motors and DC hobby motors and expect them to service continued use. The sourcing of spares in this case will be required often and will be very difficult.

* CE Conformance - The CKAS system conforms to the stringent European Standards and Directives for use in the Eurozone. Our system must pass hundreds of tests involving Essential Health and Safety and Machine Design directives, and also comply with Electromagnetic Emission Standards.

The VRSim Jetpack virtual reality simulators are some of the most exciting simulation devices on the market. These units were originally developed for the supply of simulators to one of the world leaders in jetpack aviation, and have evolved into an exciting and very affordable product available to all markets. These units can be provided as specialised training tools for the emerging jetpack market, or as next generation entertainment devices for theme parks, fun centres or even for the exclusive home.

Layout

With a unique custom designed 6DOF configuration to allow the pilot to have a very realistic spin centre, the actual motion felt in this simulator is identical to the real jetpack. Combined with genuine industrial controls and a market leading next generation VR headset (newest model typically used) - this is one of the most realistic simulators which can be experienced.

Visual Environment

The VRSim Jetpack simulator comes as standard with a full flight simulation package based on Lockheed Martin Prepar3D allowing the Jetpck to be flown anywhere around the world, and with the addition of geo-located specific scenery packs, can be flown in highly detailed localised environments. The simulator is compatible with all high quality optimised scenery packs allowing the user to specialise the environment.

The VRSim Jetpack can also be supplied with highly specialised custom training environments for unique tasks such as emergency services and rescue, battlfield environments, or next generation gaming environments such as jetpack fighting or arena battle environments.

Simulation Seats

Simulation Seats are useful for Flight, Driving and Aerial projects. The flight chassis is designed to use joystick flight control systems as well as desktop flight consoles.

The XF200 Flight Seat is our entry level flight seat which provides a research platform with a very compact footprint allowing students and academics to implement flight modelling tests with integrated software and hardware. In University Research programs, this station can be used for Aeronautical use when combined with a one of our many Flight Consoles, Rudder Pedals and external visual systems, (single monitor up to 65", multi monitor 3/4 x 32" or external projection screen) providing a perfect environment for exploring minds.

You can also configure your XF 200, can integrate with yokes, joysticks, side sticks, rudder pedals, sound system and is also adaptable to be used as a driving simulator with motor vehicles, trucks, military vehicles. As a control station, the range of uses can also extend to Oceanic uses of driving submersibles and surface shipping. The uses of this platform are tenfold.

With added features like a manual and electric trim wheel, panel surface lighting, digital clock/timer and more, we have taken the BATD to the next level.
